Dan Cantrell is an Emmy award winning composer known for his innovative and evocative film and theatre scoring approach, as well as his virtuosic playing abilities on the accordion, piano and musical saw. He holds a BFA degree from CalArts where he majored in Composition and Piano performance.

Violist and composer Emily Onderdonk, who hails from the San Francisco Bay Area, began her college years as a composition major, but soon put composition aside to focus on her degree in viola performance at Manhattan School of Music.

Philip Brezina holds at the core of his artistic philosophy that the beauties of life outside the practice room are just as essential to music making as the sounds created within one. Mr Brezina draws from his experiences playing in chamber groups, orchestras, and around campfires for inspiration in the various musical settings to which his violin invites him.

Joseph Hébert –cellist, choral director, and educator is versatile in classical and improvisational music styles. He has performed his compositions locally and abroad, and toured with music groups in the U.S, Japan, Africa, and Europe, having shared the concert stage and recording studio with hundreds of artists from the classical and popular music worlds, including Carlos Santana, Stevie Wonder, Placido Domingo, Ray Charles, Jesse Norman.

Praised by the New York Times for his “outrageous fiddling,” Matthew Szemela is a violinist who crosses musical genres with ease.

Evan Price

Evan Price

Violin

Evan Price is steadily gaining recognition as one of the world’s most confident voices in extra-classical string playing. A native of Detroit, MI, his musical background includes some earnest dues-paying in a variety of genres. From square dance bands to string quartets, from jamming with blues bands to busking in Greektown, Evan’s youthful pursuits all informed his violin-playing and left him with a deep love of chamber music in all forms.

Michael Graham

Michael Graham has been hailed by the San Francisco Classical Voice for his “almost painfully pretty…expressive richness”, and by the San Jose Mercury News as “super-good”. He has toured and recorded with Van Morrison, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg , and John Densmore of the Doors, and has appeared and performed on ABC’s Regis and Kelley and NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
