Philip Brezina holds at the core of his artistic philosophy that the beauties of life outside the practice room are just as essential to music making as the sounds created within one. Mr Brezina draws from his experiences playing in chamber groups, orchestras, and around campfires for inspiration in the various musical settings to which his violin invites him. He did his undergraduate work with David Salness at The University of Maryland and received his Masters Degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under Ian Swensen. He works as a Bluegrass fiddler in The Brothers Comatose, a studio recording artist with the Magik Magik orchestra, a soloist, and a principle player in The San Jose Chamber Orchestra.
